ABOUT

Barbara Kenneally is a visual artist based in Cork. Having retired from science, she graduated with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Applied Art, Ceramics, Glass and Textiles from CIT Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork in 2016, receiving awards for both her photography and her glass sculptures. 

Her photography is in the collection of The Office of Public Works and her glass sculptures were selected for Sculpture in Context at the National Botanical Gardens, Dublin in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Her limited edition prints have been selected for Halftone, the annual exhibition at PhotoIreland Foundation, Temple Bar, Dublin, in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.  She has exhibited in many galleries in Ireland and was invited to show her work at Cluster in London in October 2020. This exhibition was moved on-line. She has been selected for both public and private commissions. Her work is held in collections in Ireland, the UK, the USA and Australia.
